RIFT OPS: Fractured Frontier · Last updated 2 November 2026
This policy describes the iPhone and iPad release with single-player gameplay and local Wi-Fi multiplayer, and this support website.
Campaign and saved progress
A saved operator stores your chosen callsign, faction, campaign progress, equipment, earned Credits and gameplay statistics on your device. Game settings are also stored locally. The game does not upload these saves to a developer-operated cloud account. Progress does not automatically transfer to another device.
“Just play” uses a temporary guest profile. Its campaign progress is not saved between sessions. Settings and cached game files may remain on the device.
Local Wi-Fi multiplayer
When you open local multiplayer, the game uses Local Network permission and Bonjour to find or advertise nearby rooms on the same Wi-Fi. Discovery exchanges a room identifier, room name, network address and lobby information. A local join code represents the host's local network address and port; it is not a password or an invitation to play over the internet.
When you host or join, participating devices exchange an operator identifier, callsign, level, selected equipment, team and ready status, gameplay inputs, match state, results and preset tactical messages. These are used to run the room and show other players the match. The host's device runs the match; this traffic is not sent to a developer-operated game server. Match rewards may update your saved operator on your own device.
Other players can see your callsign and match activity. Avoid personal information in your callsign and use a Wi-Fi network you trust. You can leave a room to stop participating. You can revoke Local Network permission in your device's Settings; campaign and bot practice remain available.
Purchases and online services
This release does not offer real-money Credit packs, Firebase accounts, public online matchmaking or Game Center features. Credits are earned through gameplay. There is no developer cloud backup, public leaderboard or email-and-password game account in this release.
Sharing and device features
If you choose to share a result, the game creates an image and opens your device's share sheet. You choose where it goes; the destination handles it under its own privacy terms. The game does not read your photo library, contacts, microphone, camera or location. Vibration can be adjusted in Settings.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Email service providers process messages to deliver and store them. Do not send passwords, verification codes or payment-card information.
We keep support correspondence while needed to resolve your request, investigate recurring issues or meet applicable obligations. You can request deletion using the contact below, subject to information we must retain.
This website
We do not add analytics scripts or advertising trackers to these pages. Cloudflare hosts this website. It and network providers may process connection information, such as your IP address and requested page, and may use security cookies to deliver and protect the website.
Advertising and tracking
The game contains no advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party analytics. We do not sell your personal information.
Managing your information
Use Settings → Account → Delete operative account to remove your saved operator on this device. Removing the app's data can also remove local progress. There is no in-game cloud backup or cloud recovery service in this release. Deleting your local operator does not delete email you previously sent to support; contact us separately about that correspondence.
